About these terms
These terms apply to the Shri Krishna Jewellers app, a billing and record-keeping app for the Shri Krishna Jewellers shop, available at https://skj2.pages.dev and as an Android app. By using the app you agree to them. How the app handles data is explained in the privacy policy.
Who may use the app
The app is meant for the owner and staff of Shri Krishna Jewellers. Keep the login, PIN and recovery code private, and keep the device itself protected with a screen lock.
Your data and your responsibilities
- Your bills, customers and other records are stored on your own device. You are responsible for keeping backups. Data lost through a lost or reset device, cleared browser data or a forgotten backup password cannot be recovered by us.
- You are responsible for checking every bill, rate, weight and amount before you give it to a customer, and for meeting your legal and tax obligations, including GST, hallmarking and record-keeping. The app does not calculate GST.
- You are responsible for having your customers' permission to record their details, and for keeping those details private.
Live gold and silver rates
Live rates come from OroPocket, a third-party service. They are reference prices, shown before 3% GST, and may differ from your local market rate. They can be delayed, wrong or unavailable. Check the rate before billing; you can type a rate by hand on the Home screen. We are not responsible for losses caused by rates from the live feed.
Google Drive
Connecting Google Drive is optional. When you connect it, your use of Google Drive is also covered by Google's own terms, and the app uses it only as described in the privacy policy.
Third-party services
The app relies on services run by others: Cloudflare (website hosting), OroPocket (live rates), Google (Drive and sign-in), and the providers of its code libraries and fonts. Their availability and terms are outside our control.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. The current version will always be on this page, with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
